Want the Mayor to hear your greenest city idea?
Top-voted, most supported and creative ideas from
our forum will be pitched October 1.

The City has a bold vision: to be the greenest city in the world in ten short years.

For the last few months we have been asking for your help to come up with ideas that will help us achieve this vision. On Friday, October 1, four of the top-voted, most supported and creative ideas from our Talk Green to Us forum will be pitched to Mayor Gregor Robertson and panel. Bill Richardson of CBC radio will host the event and entertainment will be provided by musician Veda Hille and Poet Laureate Brad Cran. Those pitching their winning ideas to the panel will receive advice on how to implement their greenest city idea in Vancouver.

The City will host this pitch session with the Vancouver Public Space Network and the SFU City Program on:

Friday, October 1 from 7 to 9 pm
SFU Woodward's Wong Theatre
149 West Hastings Street

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. There is a possibility that a limited number of tickets will be available at the door on a first-come first-served basis.

Follow http://twitter.com/greenestcity on twitter for LIVE tweeting from the event.

The entire event will be filmed and will be screened on Shaw TV. Stay tuned for broadcast information

Deadline for ideas: September 24 is the closing date to have your idea considered. Vote and comment by then in order to see your favourite ideas pitched.
